Our room was a good size and tidy, featuring electric blankets for added comfort. the hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to Chardonnay Lodge, vineyards, and the charming rustic settings of Coonawarra. It’s a fantastic base for exploring all the nearby wineries and is conveniently close to a great restaurant in Penola.

We spent a really comfortable time here, couldn't recommend more to anyone. Liked our 1 night here. The staff were very, very nice and the setting was great and stunning.

Pleasant staff, lovely views to outside garden, everything is great. The hotel is in the central location to a great restaurant in Penola. The bets part that it's not far from Coonawarra wineries, Coonawarra, an excellent location for exploring all the nearby wineries and vineyards on all sides. The units are tidy, spotless.

We enjoyed a perfect and fantastic room with a fridge, and the staff here were polite and friendly.

Plus, you're just a short drive away from the famous Coonawarra wineries and the scenic beauty of Mount Gambier.

I had a fantastic stay at the Coonawarra Units. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the garden. The location was perfect, with numerous wineries within walking distance. The provided breakfast was simple but adequate. Despite a few minor issues like the lack of signage and thin walls, I highly recommend this hotel. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

Central location, excellent BBQ area heater, accommodating for large groups, convenient restaurant nearby, friendly staff.

Can't fault anything about it.
